The Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering at Jeph International University is a comprehensive program designed to prepare students for the demands of modern software development. This program equips learners with the knowledge and skills to design, build, test, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure software systems.

Students gain hands-on experience in programming languages, databases, mobile and web application development, systems architecture, user experience (UX) design, DevOps, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and cloud computing. Emphasis is placed on both individual and team-based projects to simulate real-world software engineering practices.

Graduates are well-prepared for careers as software developers, systems analysts, application engineers, full-stack developers, and more—across both local and international tech industries.

Minimum Entry Requirements:

At least two principal passes at A-Level, one of which must be in Mathematics, plus any other subject (including subsidiary), and five passes at O-Level; or a relevant diploma or degree qualification.

Tuition Fees:

  • Ugandan Students: UGX 1.3M per semester
  • International Students: USD 550 per semester
